The advantage of having fruits in your diet is that they strengthen the immune system, improve the digestive system, and prevent diseases like cancer and diabetes. Another plus point is that they enhance your skin and make you look less than your age.. Fresh organic fruits are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, fibers, magnesium, potassium and various types of amino acids, which makes your vegetarian diet even more nutritious. Fruits have natural salts and sugar that energizes the body. A simple grape and cherry salad with little added sugar provides a delicious and colorful delight. All you need to do is, cut grapes and cherries into half and mix a bit of sugar. Serve it after sometime.

To add flavor to your fruit salads you can serve it with various dressings like the Russian dressings. However, be careful that dressings at times have high amounts of sugar that could increase you calorie intake. You can use sugar substitutes instead of sugar to control the calorie count.
